✨ “Verdant Awakening”

It’s on display now! In the lobby at The Core Ramsey MN along with several of my other pieces! This was created on a 36x36” museum canvas. The large gems are hand made using resin molds and sit on the ends of textured stems. I was actually inspired to create this by the Sage green color. It by far is one of my favorite spring colors when everything is in bloom and comming alive! I hope you can see what I do;

* growth / emergence (those reaching branches)
* the green gemstone life energy
* that grounded, earth-meets-art feeling from the stones

The piece is a little on the heavier side. One by one, I placed each and every pretty little stone that represents the earth. The polished stones are real!

SOLD! It’s bittersweet. It feels like I’m giving a child away every time☺️. I’m thankful It has a purpose now. Putting a bit of happiness in another humans home!🥰👏🙂‍↔️

My first resin table pour! Resin has a flash point when poured at certain depths. I'm starting with a very small first level. This week I hope to have 2 table tops complete. Then I move up in size🥰 this will be a small side table once complete! Stay tuned!🍿😍

This is available for purchase and it is absolutly stunning. It is called, Elysian Light which is the very first piece in my Afterlight Limited Collection.
Description: Gallery Wrapped, 24X24, It is Gold Leaf + crushed glass. I've used Opal pigment with resin and also glow powder which gives it the glow-in-the-dark effect you see in the video's attached. I have used a UV light and a Black light for different effects.
This painting shines so beautiful in the sunlight and I can't get over it!
You can run your hands over the piece and feel the different layers I've created within the textures.
The remaining pieces soon to be shown on my page, will be textured, opal-inspired artwork designed to transform with light - blending luxury finishes with subtle illumination such as this one. I will be creating 5 - 6 pieces, varying sizes for this limited edition collection.
