Always becoming more aware of the things I ingest, I found myself intrigued by what a hemp wick was.... an ancient invention that enhanced my lighting experience. It made my ceremonies much more sacred. I found that I could quietly light many candles, I had no bitter butane taste during my herbal smoking experiences, it was the best. Thats when it hit me that all hemp wicks were made with beeswax,

something a passionate vegan like me does not want to be a part of. It was my calling to make a vegan hemp wick that could spread a positive message. I got started in 2012 under the name Vegan Twine. And after a year of fine tuning, my business partner at the time abandoned the project to work on his family business. I had to start from scratch and have been building my inventory and business knowledge by myself. I have to spread a message of peace towards life and thats why I am doing this. For any product that exists from abusing animals there needs to be a vegan creating a version that doesn't. This is the Vegan Hemp Wick Company.
