I’ve been a little quiet here on the Haven page, but definitely not in the shop!

I’ve been busy creating new pieces and getting ready for my very first booth at the Woman’s Club of Reidsville Fall Fest, September 11–12! 🍂

It’s been a while since I’ve posted! The shop has been under construction, and these photos show how far it’s come.

It’s almost there—the electrician is finishing up next week, the mini-split is ready for these hot summer days, and I can’t wait to get back to building.

🌲🤎 Haven Woodworks is officially open!

What started as a woodworking class to learn basic tool usage and safety turned into a passion. Along the way, it became a healthy outlet and a place where I found growth through grief.

I offer handmade charcuterie boards, cutting boards, serving boards, risers, shelf sitters, faith-inspired décor, personalized gifts, and custom engraving on many items.

Local pickup is available in Reidsville, NC, and most items can be shipped.

Really proud of how this one turned out. While I’ll mostly be focusing on slightly smaller boards and serving pieces moving forward, I love the character and craftsmanship in a piece like this.

Custom boards in similar styles will start around $95 depending on size, wood, and personalization.

One of my first engraved boards for Haven Woodworks 🤎

From walking through the lumberyard picking out the wood to cutting, sanding, engraving, and finishing — I’ve loved learning every part of this process and bringing these ideas to life.

I’m still getting my Shopify store set up and photographing all the pieces I’ve been making lately, but I’m excited to officially launch Haven Woodworks on June 1! 🌲

Well… my first day trying out my laser engraver was a little chaotic and frustrating😅

Wi-Fi problems, sensor issues, confusion, and lots of trial and error.

But after all that frustration, my first successful engraving said:

“Faith Over Fear.”

Honestly… pretty fitting for today. 🥰
