Lightning-Born Wildfire Ash
A little piece of nature’s beautiful destruction has made its way to Black River Curiosity Co. 🖤
These tiny vials contain genuine wildfire ash collected from the recent local fire, which was naturally sparked by lightning. Much of the area that burned was sagebrush, giving this ash an especially interesting combination of metaphysical symbolism.
Wildfire ash is associated with transformation, cleansing, release, destruction of the old, and making room for new growth. Fire can completely change a landscape, but from that burned ground, life eventually returns.
Because this particular fire began with lightning, I also associate it with sudden change, raw natural energy, breakthroughs, power, and that unexpected spark that sets transformation into motion.
