Pickles. Not pickled but fermented producing a gut healthy bacteria, Lactobacillus. They will have the same tangy taste without the sharp vinegar bite.

Here is what I did:

1. Clean and sterilize your jars and lids.
2. Wash the pickling cukes, slice the blossom end off, then slice into approximately 1/4" slices.
3. Each jar* gets 4 whole cloves of garlic, 1T peppercorns, 1T mustard seed, 2T dill w**d, 1T dill seed, 3 bay leafs. * I used half gallon jars.
4. Fill jars with cukes to below the thread lines.
5. Make a salt water brine and till to 3/4" head space. The brine is 34g salt to 4 c water.
6. Add a fermentation weight to keep cukes below the water line and add your lid. You can use a regular lid and ring I'd you burp the jar daily, a cotton cloth and ring/rubber band, or fermentation lid.
7. Set in a cool dark place for 5-7 days. The water will become cloudy this is normal.
8. Replace the lid right a regular lid and store in the refrigerator.

Raspberries, st johns wort, mullein flower, self heal, motherwort, red clover, burdock root & chives.
. there were about 2 cups of Raspberries, not just the 4 pieces you see. We just couldn't wait!

What do you do when you have an abundance of eggs and some left over pizza toppings? Scrounge the fridge for more add-ins and make breakfast in a Jar!
Each jar has:
2 Eggs
1 TBSP Water
1 TBSP Meat
1 TBSP Shredded Cheese
1 TBSP Diced Veggies

Pressure Can for 40 minutes in jelly jars. Enjoy!

These can be used with homefries, in a wrap, or warmed by the selves.

Ya know those conversations that go like "I found a great deal on trees. We sound buy some!" But you don't ever get any real feedback from your partner and buy it anyway. Then, one day you get to say "let's go for a ride and pick up the trees I bought. "

So anyway, today we planted 25 elderberry and 2 pear trees 😂

Today we moved some (ok, a LOT) rocks where the blueberries used to be to get ready for the elderberry plants coming Friday. We found this, and decided to move it to a safe space to let it grow!
