We are still smiling from the incredible turnout at our Open House and Ribbon Cutting! More than 100 friends, family members, clients, colleagues, industry partners, and members of our community joined us to celebrate this next chapter for Nest Kitchen, Bath & Home Design—and the evening could not have gone better.

Thank you to everyone who came, toured the showroom, celebrated with us, and shared such kind words about the space and our work. Thank you to those who sent the beautiful flowers and thoughtful gifts. We felt incredibly loved and supported.

A very special thank-you goes to our wonderful manufacturer representatives, vendors, and industry partners who contributed products, materials, resources, and generous discounts to help bring this showroom to life. This space would not be what it is without your support and belief in what we are building.

I am also deeply grateful to our team, family, and friends who helped prepare for the event, worked behind the scenes, and supported us through every step of this enormous undertaking.

Week 7 of the One Room Challenge

Finally starting to feel like a real room again.

The flooring is in, the cabinetry is set, and most of the hardware has been installed — which means some of the layers we’ve been waiting on are finally coming together.

It’s definitely been a slower process than we hoped, and there’s still a long list ahead of us, but that’s the reality of remodeling sometimes. Things take longer than expected, materials get delayed, and even well-planned projects hit setbacks along the way.

Still a long way to go… but seeing pieces of the vision finally come together feels really good.

Week 5 of the One Room Challenge

A slower week over here.

We finally received the replacement tile that’s properly calibrated (which should make all the difference for the checkerboard floor), so we’re ready to move forward again.

And on a much better note—the lighting is in, and it’s even better than I expected!! The Paige semi-flush fixture in aged brass from the Mitzi collection is going to be stunning in this space!!

Some weeks are big progress, some are just setting things up to get back on track… this was one of those.

Week 4 of the One Room Challenge

Not every week is a big reveal.

We started tile this week and quickly realized something wasn’t right—the black and white tiles were slightly different sizes, which completely throws off a checkerboard layout.

It’s one of those details that has to be exactly right, so we’re waiting on a new batch that’s properly calibrated.

A good reminder that even with the best planning, things come up. That’s just part of the process.

On a better note, the chilled water bottle filler from Elkay is in and working—and that one is already a favorite.
