June's edition of my self portrait series
"Kintsugi"

Sometimes life breaks things. Kintsugi is the art lf repairing broken things, often by mixing golden into the repaired seams. This doesnt hide the damage, it excentuates it.

Your scars are what make you, so dont hide them. Accepting your damage and incorporating it into the new you is the best way to heal.

This was a 3d print of my head that I broke and then remade with gold resin. I tried my best to make sure parts that I actually have scars are reflected on the piece.
