🍅✨ Tonight I roasted tomatoes, peppers, red onion, and a whole head of garlic until my kitchen smelled absolutely unreal. 🧄✨
I blended it all into a homemade sauce, let it slowly simmer, then added homemade oven-roasted meatballs.
Was it easier to open a jar? Absolutely. 🤣
Would it have been faster? Definitely.
But there’s just something about taking simple ingredients and turning them into something with your own hands. About slowing down and remembering that good things don’t always have to be rushed… and neither do we. 🌿
Someday (hopefully soon 🤞🍅) I’ll be making this with tomatoes I grew myself from my little chaos garden, but until then this was a pretty magical practice run.
