Hot weather hack: dig into your Winter stash!

For reasons I've never *quite* understood, mint has become a scent/flavor that reaches peak demand in Winter, when it's... already cold here...?

The older I get, the more I'm starting to suspect this was done by someone who was also dealing with perimenopause and/or dysautonomia, whose internal thermostat just became a roulette wheel, & honestly, CAN RELATE. 🥵🥶⁉️

I personally don't often use minty scents in the cold months, but you know when they ARE great?

IN THE SUMMER.

WHEN IT IS HOT.

AND YOU NEED TO FEEL COOL.

Like, today, for instance. It's past my comfort level outside, so I've got the A/C on, the tower fan going, portable fans at the ready...

And "I smell snow" from the Gilmore Girls collection in the warmer.🍬🍃❄️ The soft peppermint wafting around on the already cool air definitely elevates the chill in here, for me!

"I Smell Snow" is currently in the vault, but these are some great choices from the current catalogue:

🍃 Just Breathe- this one is the closest to "I Smell Snow," in my opinion, with the addition of a little more lemon

🍃 The Mandalorian- Air of Adventure- I LOVE this one, but I can't really describe it. It's very fresh & cool. The site description says it features notes of "Silver mint, crisp bergamot, earthy-sweet geranium, with a touch of eucalyptus and bright orange zest." It's so good!

🍃 Sweet Lime & Peach- I get "peach mojito" vibes from this one

🍃 Breeze & Balsam- this one is heavier on the "woods" & a little lighter on the mint, but it's another really fresh scent

🍃 Wildflowers and Sage- this one balances fresh with light floral, mint, & sage

🍃 Freshwater Sage- there are no direct mint notes here, but the combination of citrus & bergamot has a very cool, fresh, uplifting effect for me, & it's one of my fave bars of all time!

- dating anniversary- 17 years ago, my now-husband rolled up to my parent's house & met me & my whole family in person for the first time, & still decided he wanted to date me 😄
