SOLD: Here’s an antique Victorian/Eastlake-style dresser featuring a matching swivel mirror and a white marble top.

It features a solid walnut body with rich burl wood panels on the drawer fronts.

I’ve painted the frame and mirror supports satin black to create a striking contrast that allows the natural wood grain of the drawer faces to pop. The roomy drawers move well and all have the original wood k***s.

Though this is an older (100+years) piece it has a few issues. There is a repaired crack in the marble top that doesn’t affect the stability of the piece (see photo). Also there are fine spots in the silvering of the mirror.

This piece is a Late Victorian / Eastlake period antique oak commode washstand, typically dating from the late 1880s to early 1900s.

I stripped it down to bare wood and lightly beige-washed the exterior. The hardware is new but true to the era.

It measures 38.5” wide x 26” tall x 19”deep.

Can be used as a nightstand, end table, entry table, etc.

The twins are ready to make your home more functional and comfortable!

These two started life as a desk! They were carefully separated by my carpenter hubby - Ken from Carpentry Etc. - and were patched and given new custom tops!

All drawers work well. They’re a great size for limited-space bedrooms or could also function as end tables.

Measurements are 30” tall x 19.5” deep x 12.5” wide.

Linda’s MCM Ten-drawer Chest of Drawers is finished, has a new stain and new lease on life!

She was quite orangey when picked up, so I stripped her down to bare (pine) wood, and Linda chose a Provincial stain .

She’s ready for another 60 years!!

History: I’m a former Radio Personality (DJ) who’s been painting furniture and kitchen cabinets for over 20 years, long before I retired from that business.

I am constantly looking for solid-wood, vintage or antique pieces to update. I sand-strip and powder blast furniture here at home (no chemicals) and use washes, glazes, latex and chalk paint.

I also do custom painting work for clients. We offer pick up and delivery services. My husband is a custom carpenter and can fix and repair pieces.

She’s a lovely solid wood French Provencial dresser that was stripped down to solid wood. She’s since been beige-washed with “Bungalow Beige” and “Mushroom Bisque.”

She has six roomy and well-sliding drawers and original FP pulls that have been sprayed ‘Antique Gold.”

Janet’s newly painted kitchen is finally finished! Her parents built the house in 1969, and the plain, varnished cabinets needed to be brought up-to-date! Janet picked this color from PPG paints and chose the new hardware. Her kitchen has a new lease on life!
