Tips from Dalh: Hello friends and design enthusiasts! Combine and mix different styles together. Casual with a touch of glam and even bring in traditional pieces. Take your favorite styles and mix them in perfect balance. Place accessory pieces in odd numbers. 1,3,5,7 is pleasing to the eye. Add color and texture to bring a professional look to any space. Would you like your bedroom to look like a hotel suite? There are so many styles. Traditional, romantic, modern or a combination of styles is gorgeous. Always repeat colors, patterns and textures. The wall color, dust ruffle and blanket all blend in color. The fur pillow matches the fur rug in the first room. Use some of your favorite items. Fresh flowers add a special touch. I am still looking for the perfect picture to put over the chest of drawers in the navy room. Always take your time and get what speaks to you. Interior design is so personal. I never try to change any ones style. I only want to shepherd the process and bring the room together beautifully. Relax and refresh in your special retreat.

Tips from Dalh: Hello friends and design enthusiasts. With this week being Passover and Easter it’s all about tables. Family and friends gather and make special memories all around the table. Tables are at the center of life’s most important events. Baby showers, bridal showers, weddings, rehearsal dinners and the Heart Ball. You can do these special tables at you home. I started all of these tables with a theme. Pick your theme and have some fun! Use your favorite China or dishes. Use linen napkins and fresh flowers. Cut your butter in shapes like hearts and stars with cookie cutters. Do not forget to put fresh fruit in your favorite pitcher of water. All of these touches will make your guests feel so special and feel your labor of Love!!💕 I hope that helps.

Tips from Dalh: Friends and design enthusiasts, my goal is to give you some basic tips that can improve your design skills. Let’s talk about curtains. A basis tip for design is to remember you always want your eyes to go up. You want to create a feel that your room is actually taller and larger than it is. Alway hang your curtains as close to the ceiling as possible. If you have trim place your rod directly under the trim. I love my curtains to puddle in the floor. Tips from Dalh: Hello friends and design enthusiast. One of the biggest mistakes I see people make in design is lamp height. When you have nine ft. ceilings or higher you need tall lamps. Preferable 35-37 inches. Remember they need to be in scale with the table as well. This applies to nightstands. If you have a large headboard you need large lamps. Squatty lamps will greatly affect your look. I hope that helps!!
