BIG NEWS from The Academic Apron kitchen 👩‍🍳📚

Tomorrow, voting officially starts for the Favorite Chef Competition, and somehow this chaotic little kitchen made it onto the list. 😭❤️

If you’ve been here for the homemade bread, the brownies, the kitchen disasters, the late-night cooking, the “I’m in school but still making dinner” chaos, and the meals made with love for my family — this is exactly what Academic Apron is all about.

I’m not a fancy chef. I’m a mom, a doctoral student, a caregiver, and someone who believes food can bring people together even when life is messy.

A few months ago, I wasn't sure what this summer would look like.

Today we're planning trips, making dinner, laughing too loud, and celebrating my mom being cancer free. ❤️

Life isn't perfect, but sometimes it's pretty darn good.
