Hi friends—I left you hanging! I bought the dresser 😍
It was the original drawer pulls that got me. And yes, I know you all loved the handles on the other dresser I had here, but I’m a chaser of change. And I also love the contrast this darker piece brings to this corner.
It’s missing a pull, of course—but that didn’t bother me much. What do you think?

Yesterday at the thrift store I picked up a stamped ironstone bowl, that had several surface cracks. Some might think it’s foolish to buy something cracked, but I’d rather have the old piece of decor, rich in history than the new shiny one that’s been mass produced.

Go thrifting, go antiquing, get on Etsy! Second hand shopping is more than just sustainable, it allows for unique timeless spaces in our homes to be created.

Good afternoon, friends—it’s been a while! 🤍

The kids are all back in school, and I’m playing catch-up. The house is so quiet—it’s the first time in 19 years of motherhood that I’ve had a whole day to myself. It feels a little strange, and I’ve caught myself asking the dogs questions like, ‘Have you seen my sandals?’” 🤪

I haven’t felt super inspired with decorating lately, but I did want to share this corner. We picked up these antlers at Antique Week a few weeks ago, and I love the texture they bring in. I may have gone a little overboard—I brought home more than we needed—so I’ve listed four pairs in the Etsy shop if you’re hunting for some yourself! 🦌 ✨

It’s hard to keep things looking perfect around here. I try but it’s pretty impossible. With 5 kids and 2 dogs, some days our sofa becomes a fort and other days it’s a nap spot for the dogs. Having a machine washable slipcover is a must for us!

I ordered so many samples from and took a risk and picked something a bit bold for our living room sofas. This is the Caramel in Signature Velvet. They fit perfectly and we are so happy with them. Swipe to see the before. The new slipcovers totally transformed the look and feel of our living room! ✨
