Today at Crump Creek Lather & Lace has been all about experimenting in the soap room!
We spent the day working on small-batch hot process soaps and testing out some new scent combinations. There is something oddly satisfying about watching oils, milk, oats, and fragrance slowly come together into something useful, beautiful, and handmade.
On today’s workbench: cozy farmhouse-inspired scents, warm comfort blends, and a few combinations that had us stopping mid-stir just to say, “Ohhh… that one is GOOD.”
A few favorites in the running so far:
• Oatmeal, Milk & Honey
• Kentucky Bourbon
• Warm Vanilla Sugar
• Blackberry Sage
• Lavender
Still lots of testing, curing, and tinkering ahead, but we’re having fun learning what works, what surprises us, and what deserves a permanent place at Crump Creek.
