Hello everyone!

I just wanted to create a post to keep all of my amazing customers and friends updated, since there haven't been many posts from me as of recent.

Towards the end of 2021, I was able to get a greenhouse set up for all of my personal plants and sale plants. All was going wonderfully, up until about a week ago. The greenhouse ended up losing power on one of the coldest days here in Connecticut (my thermometer was literally reading 0°F), and many plants ended up taking a pretty hard hit. I lost numerous plants from my personal collection, as well as my sales collection. Some did make it, and a few can possibly be salvaged with enough TLC.

To say the least it was a pretty hard hit. Since then, new heaters and wiring have been installed to make sure this NEVER happens again. In the meantime, everything that I have currently posted up is pretty much spoken for. Anything I was able to save will definitely be reposted soon! I also plan on posting a bunch of new plants up within the next few coming weeks. To say I can't wait to get the greenhouse back into its former glory is an understatement!

I appreciate everyone's patience, and I can't wait to get things running smoothly again! To my wonderful customers and plant friends, please stay safe and healthy- I will see many of you soon!

One Sand Dollar Cactus (Astrophytum asterias) available for $25 potted, or $23 bare-root. These produce large yellow flowers with orange centers (shown in image # 9- photo not taken by me)! An extremely flat barrel cactus with tufts of hair rather than spines.

One Brain Cactus / Wave Cactus (Stenocactus species- formerly Echinofossulocactus species) up for $12 potted, or $10 bare-root. Flower color varies by species, but tends to be a lighter color, with deeper-colored midstriping (some examples shown in image # 10- photos not taken by me). These are popular because of their characteristic wavy ("crinkly") appearance! Most/all of these cactus are varied forms of Stenocactus crispatus (formerly Echinofossulocactus crispatus).

I now have 2 small Blue Myrtle Cactus (Myrtillocactus geometrizans) up for sale! I'm asking $7 each potted, or $6 each bare-root. Please specify if you'd like plant "A" or plant "B" as well! These do best in partial sun - shadier locations. However, more mature plants can often handle direct sun, as long as they are given time to acclimate. These are known for their glaucous blue-green coloring!

One Dinosaur Back Plant / Crested Blue Myrtle (Myrtillocactus geometrizans cristata) is going for $22 potted, or $20 bare-root. Being a crested form of Myrtillocactus geometrizans, this plant is known for its blue/green/gray coloring. Flowers are small and white.

Two small pots of Hans Sach's Echinopsis hybrid babies are now up for grabs! Pot letter A contains 4 cactus, and is going for $5 potted or $4 bare-root. Pot letter B contains 3 cactus, and is going for $4 potted or $3 bare-root. Flowers are large and white with a pink midstripe (shown in image # 10- photo not taken by me). I also find that these are happiest in partial sun!

Variegated Joseph's Coat Cactus (Opuntia 'Maverick' variegata/Opuntia monacantha monstrose variegata) up for $15 potted, or $13 bare-root. These are famous for their green and cream-white variegation. Full sun usually brings out some beautiful pink coloring! Blooms are small and red.

A pot of 3 Echinobivia hybrid 'Rainbow Bursts' babies is up for grabs! I'm asking $8 potted, or $6 bare-root. Most blooms on these hybrids tend to be a bright shade of pink; however, the flowers on these 3 are a beautiful bright orange color with pink accents (pictured in images # 7 and # 8- both photos of mother plant taken by me)! This is an Echinopsis x Lobivia cross, and each plant tends to vary in appearance and bloom color.

I have two False Saguaro Cactus (aka Cardon) (Pachycereus pringlei) available! I am asking $35 potted or $33 bare-root for the larger of the two (letter A), and $30 potted or $28 bare-root for the smaller of the pair (letter B). These are very similar to the famous Saguaro cactus, however, cardons will grow slightly faster and can also be propagated by offsets, unlike a true Saguaro. The false saguaro can still live to over 100 years of age, and are a night-blooming cactus with large white flowers.

Another very beautiful Desert Rose (Adenium obesum hybrid No. 68 Amata I) is up for grabs! I'm asking $42 potted, or $40 bare-root. This desert rose has a very unique flower; "large, dinner plate-like blooms that resemble a hibiscus- rich, burgundy petals are outlined in a deep violet color" (shown in image # 10- photo not taken by me). Winter is approaching, so don't be alarmed if she loses some/all of her leaves!
