On Monday, February 16, 2026, Dr. Linda Davis, a beloved special education teacher at Hesse K-8 School, tragically lost her life in a car accident in Savannah, Georgia.
The crash occurred around 7:45 a.m. when agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) attempted to stop 38-year-old Oscar Vasquez Lopez during a traffic operation.
According to reports, Lopez allegedly fled from authorities, executed a reckless U-turn, and ran a red light before crashing into Dr. Davis’s vehicle.
