I decided to try my hand at cutting boards. These two are kits I purchased to get some practice with the process. They are Angelique, Hard Maple, and Wenge.

Getting close to the finish line with this microwave/storage rack for the kitchen. I decided to use dowel joinery for most of the build, both to try something new and to avoid visible fasteners.

All of the pieces are milled from inexpensive 2x4 pine studs. It’s finished with a Kona gel stain and semi gloss polyurethane.

Just a couple more pieces to make and it will be done.

I’ll post more pictures when it’s done.
