There’s just something different about getting to work on a true classic.

This 1969 Volkswagen Beetle came through the studio and honestly… it was an honor to touch something with this much history behind it. The owner has built multiple Beetles from the ground up over the years, and the passion shows in every inch of this car. From the fully rhino-lined body to the way it’s been maintained and preserved, this thing has character you just can’t replicate.

We had the chance to bring some modern comfort into a timeless build with a fresh ceramic tint setup while respecting everything that makes this Beetle special. Seeing the before & after transformation on a vehicle that’s been loved for decades hits different.

Moments like this are why I love what I do. It’s never “just tint.” It’s being trusted with something people genuinely care about.

This poor glass on this beautiful Chrysler 300 came into Shade Vault looking ROUGH 😭💀

If a shop’s gonna quote a number so high the customer gives up on the project entirely… just say you didn’t wanna do the car 😭💀

This classic Nissan 300ZX owner was originally quoted OVER $1,600 for tint somewhere else — basically making him shelf the idea completely.

Months later he found Shade Vault and got the entire car transformed for LESS than half of that 🔥

When the owner of this Cadillac Lyriq called Shade Vault, it wasn’t about “just tint.”

It was a real usability problem.

He spends a lot of time being chauffeured around while working from the passenger seat, and all of the glossy/chrome interior trim was reflecting sunlight directly into his eyes throughout the day ☀️💀

So we built a full glare-reduction setup around the way HE actually uses the vehicle 👌

✔️ Matte black interior vinyl on the major reflective chrome trim
✔️ Nano ceramic 30% on the front two windows
✔️ 70% nano ceramic full windshield
✔️ Extended brow to cut down even more overhead glare
✔️ Cleaner interior look with a much more comfortable driving/work experience

The craziest part?
Once the chrome was toned down, the entire interior transformed. The cabin feels calmer, cleaner, and way more luxury-focused now 😮‍💨🔥

That’s the difference between just “installing film” and actually solving problems for people.
