Ten square pouches later I have the size I want 😁 I will be making most of them this size from now on. About 10 inches long, 3 inches tall & just over 4 inches wide. Straps on the ends a little different than the first ones too. Trial & error is what you get when you decide to make your own pattern, but I enjoy the pocess.

I made another square pouch. Experimenting. I think the flowered ones I made should be a little bit bigger. This one I made tonight out of faux leather is too big 😝 you can fit a pair of clown shoes in it 🤣🤣 I believe I need to go in between them, but closer to the flowered ones. Sewing is a lot like gardening. Just try it and see what happens 😊 I do like the handle placement better on this one though.

This is the first time in a long while that I’ve stayed up late sewing. It’s my favorite time to sew, 8 / 9 pm until 1-4 am. The shape & size of these boxy pouches reminds of my Dads old shaving kit. I might just have to make some more “manly” ones. 🤔

These are my favorite totes to make. My grocery tote, made with heavy home decor fabric. And this is my favorite appliqué to put on them, although I hope to be adding more cute appliqués to some soon. Sunflower is on one side and will be available at The Red Caboose in Huntington soon, unless someone says they want it first.
