Goosefare Antiques & Promotions promotes major antiques shows and sales along the Maine coast, in greater Boston, and on Cape Cod. It has been successfully promoting shows for over 40 years and has built a reputation and following that is unsurpassed by any other antiques show promotions company in northern New England. These are successful, long-running annual events that its patrons look forward

In addition, Goosefare Antiques has a large antiques shop open year round on Route 1 in Wells, Maine. seven room colonial house at 2232 Post Road (Route 1), Wells, 04090 - directly across the street from the Maine Diner. If you are in the Washington DC to Richmond VA area, there is a great little antiques show this weekend at the historic Hanover Tavern in Hanover, VA. Here is a picture of our booth. If you see anything you like, let us know or, better yet, come visit us at the antiques show. We are on the second floor in a room at the back. This ia a juried show with great antiques in every booth. Saturday for 10 to 5 and Sunday for 11 to 3. The tavern is right in the center of town.

The 37th annual Hingham Antiques Show & Sale is this coming weekend, Saturday, March 28, from 11 to 5 and Sunday, March 29, from 11 to 4. It is probably the most looked forward to, and best attended, show in the Greater Boston Area. The show will have 45 great exhibitors from 7 states (see list below) selling wonderful 18th, 19th, and early 20th century antiques - Lots of furniture, Americana, folk art, fine glass and china, jewelry, silver, paintings, prints, porcelains, nautical antiques, garden antiques, decorative antiques, and much more. The show is held in the gym and cafeteria of the Hingham Middle School, on Route 228 in Hingham, MA. The show will benefit the Hingham High School Green Team. Plan to come early and stay late. Admission is $10 or $9 if you bring in a copy of this post. Lunch and snacks are available.

The winter break is over for us. Our attention is now turned to the Tolland (CT) Antiques Show which will happen on Sunday, March 1st, from 9 to 3. The Tolland Show is a fundraiser for the Tolland Historical Society and has been running for 57 years. This show is loaded with 18th & 19th century antiques set up in room settings with lots of good country, early furniture, Americana, folk art, and Oriental rugs. There are also specialists in paintings, decoys, weathervanes, early ceramics, and this year we have added dealers specializing in ephemera, jewelry, and Shaker smalls. The show is held at the Tolland Middle School, 1 Falcon Way in Tolland, CT. You can take exit 68 or 69 off I-84 and follow our signs to the show. Tolland is 20 minutes from Sturbridge, MA, and about the same from Hartford, CT. Admission is $10. There is plenty of parking and a caterer will available during show hours. See the exhibitor list below. If you like antiques, this show is a must-see. Hope to see you there.
