We have a mold problem. I've told my apartment manager who says "its normal for California" i have to wipe the fuzz from my window sills and the gap in the panelling in the shower daily so I'm hoping this helps. The maintenance man even told me to make sure my fans are OFF to prevent mold his words "airflow CAUSES mold" we've had problems with this place since we moved in but its all we can afford right now.

What’s the one thing from your 'old life' that you refuse to give up? Tell me I’m not the only one with a car floorboard full of transitions!

I've started cooking from scratch as much as possible. The smell of food cooking always meant home to me. Especially baking anything. I remember my grandmother (who raised me) having a cookie jar stocked at all times. I am trying to continue the tradition. My oldest just informed me no matter where she goes to college she will be placing a cookie order to mom. I will be getting her a cookie jar. Passing down these skills feels just as important as the recipe itself. Seeing her already 'placing orders' for the future makes all the time spent at the counter worth it.

Who says you can't have 100 plants on a small balcony? 🌿 I wasn't going to let a VERY SMALL space stop me, so I found a way to make it work.
​I have so many plans for WHEN, not IF, we get a larger space, but this will do for now. I sit here most mornings and enjoy my coffee. Thankful for what we have, but always planning for more. ✨
