If you enjoy putting together layers of colors than I think you’ll enjoy how easy it is to use these dies.
Darkest petal layer reveals each lighter layer above it. And that wood grain layer on the bottom really pulls it all together. Old Olive color leaves give just the subtle contrast to all of the blues. Enjoy your day!

It’s another great day to experiment with my stamps sets. I love being able to make background paper with the lined images for a fun design look and making the most of my purchase. Today’s card is paired with the bold contrast of Poppy Parade card stock, and ink. I decided to use a simple sentiment to not overpower the detail designs. It’s fun to look at my design with two different background colors. I often wait to choose my card base color because it can impact the overall look. Which one do you prefer ,the basic white base or the Daffodil Delight?

Happy Monday, my Next project will use the stamp set to make a black and white background paper. No coloring necessary. It’s a great way extend the use of a stamp set. Of course you can use any ink colors . I used a full sheet of 8 1/2 by 11 starting with the largest image first. Be sure and stamp over the edges as well. I’ll be able to cut this sheet into multiple sections for my cards. Hmmmm, now what colors should I use with it?

I’m back today with another color version of the “Simply Beautiful “ bundle. The Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia combo paired beautifully with the Perennial Lavender designer paper. Just love it ! To give the flower petals additional depth just sponge the inside of each die cut with ink before assembling. I emphasized the flower center with a Blackberry Bliss piece that’s actually the negative of one of the smaller flowers . Stamine is cut in Daffodil Delight .
Note the sentiment , I stamped 2 different ones with Highland Heather ink and then cut portions of them to make a new sentiment. Lightly sponge your edges with Fresh Freesia ink to give the sentiment more interest.
So which color card base is your favorite today : Bubble Bath, Soft Sea Foam or Pool Party?

Which color do you prefer ? 3 different card bases slightly change the look of each one. Here’s the start of using multiple colors with the same stamp and die set. Today’s card features a flower using layers of die cut’s using colors Lemon Lolly, Very Vanilla, Old Olive and Basic Black. The white card layer has great texture using the Exposed Brick embossing folder.
Which card base do you prefer?
Daffodil Delight, Old Olive or Lemon Lolly?

So it’s a new year and that means new products to play with. Because I have so many existing Stamp and Die sets I decided to focus on one and see how many ways I could work with it. So I hope you’ll be able to help me with favorite color combinations. My goal is to show you the products from the
New “Simply Beautiful “ Bundle over the next week.
Don’t we all have a few flower sets? Yes , but I was drawn to the uniqueness of the dies. Right now I have 5 colors I’m looking at for the flowers, any guesses which colors ?

What tells you fall may be on it’s way? Weather, changing colors or harvest time? Today I’m inspired by the pears ripening on the trees. I’m blessed by picking some from my brothers tree. I love them with sliced cheese the most!
So I pulled out some products to make this fun faux postage tag with pears. I’m having fun coloring the pears with alcohol markers rather than the stamp images that the set comes with.
Here’s basically what I used …
Perfectly Pear Bundle
Postage Dies
Soft Sea Foam paper and light marker
Timid Tiger paper and light marker
Daffodil light marker
Old Olive light and dark marker
Linen thread combo pack(green and brown)
I love the little postal emboss you can make with the die.
Enjoy!

Spring is around the corner and I really enjoy designing with this In Color paper collection. Teapots are a favorite so why not make a cute collection of pretty patterned ones. The dies made it easy and I just flipped the pattern to take advantage of the stripes as well.
Coastal Cabana card base and ink gives a gentle balance to the patterns.
Are you a tea lover?

I’m up to monkey business today! That’s right I’m playing with the fruit salad designer paper, and circle punches. I’ve always enjoyed doing punch art in the past and thought it would be fun to make this monkey holding the bananas in the DSP. Does that pineapple hat look familiar? It was a left over edge piece from my last project. I found the perfect sentiment from the BLUEBERRY BUNCHES stamp set plus stamped the leaves around the edges. Do you still have your circle punches to try this idea out?

Back today with a little touch of hospitality. Have you heard that pineapples are associated with hospitality? I guess at one point they were associated with people of wealth because they were very expensive. Anyway , today’s card features the pineapple design in the Fruit salad designer paper. The middle piece was cut from the edge design to maximize the number of pineapple on each 6x6 sheet. I loved the sentiment for this theme. ALL the patterns used today are from the Fruit Salad 6x6 pack.
