My 2026 Home & Design Favorites: Ideas, Inspiration & Simple Ways to Love Your Home More
If you’ve been following along with me this year, you know that I love sharing ideas that are beautiful but also practical.
I’m a big believer that you don’t always need to buy something new, remodel a room, or start from scratch to make your home feel fresh. Sometimes it’s about looking at what you already have with a new perspective, making a few thoughtful changes, and knowing where to spend—and where to save.
I’ve been busy sharing home design tips, entertaining ideas, decluttering inspiration, and a few of my favorite little tricks here on the blog. So I thought it would be fun to put them all in one place!
Here’s a look back at my 2026 blog posts so far.

Thinking about hiring a designer but not quite sure what to expect?
This post walks you through how to make the most of working with a designer—from knowing what you want help with to understanding how to communicate your ideas, budget, and priorities.
A designer doesn’t have to take over your home or make every decision for you. The best design process is collaborative. Your home should still feel like you.

🧺 Kick Off Your New Year with a Four-Week Decluttering Series
Published January 2026
A new year is a perfect time to take a fresh look at what’s taking up space in your home.
Rather than trying to declutter the entire house in one exhausting weekend, I shared the idea of tackling it in manageable steps over four weeks.
Sometimes the biggest transformation comes from simply removing what you no longer need, use, or love.
And the bonus? You may discover that your home already has everything you need to create a beautiful space—you just needed to see it again.

Before you decide your dishes are ruined or go shopping for new ones, try this simple solution.
It’s a great example of something I talk about often: before replacing something, see if you can bring what you already own back to life.

This post is all about creating an entertaining reset so you're prepared before guests arrive.
From having a few essentials ready to thinking ahead about your serving pieces, tablescape, and guest experience, a little preparation can make entertaining feel much easier—and much more enjoyable.

🏡 The #1 Thing That Dates a Home (the Free Fix)
Published May 11, 2026
This is one of my favorite topics because the solution doesn't require a shopping trip!
There are certain things in our homes that can quietly make a space look older or more dated than we realize. And one of the biggest offenders is something you may be able to fix without spending a dime.
As a designer and home stager, I’m always looking for those little details that can make a big difference.
Sometimes the best design advice is simply: look at your home with fresh eyes.

And There’s More to Come!
One of my favorite things about writing this blog is that it gives me a place to share the ideas I’m constantly discovering, trying, and using in my own home and with my clients.
You’ll find a little bit of everything here—design, decorating, organizing, entertaining, styling, shopping tips, and plenty of ways to use what you already have.
And if you’re new here, welcome! Take a look around and explore some of the posts above.
My goal has always been simple:
Help you love your home more.
Because I believe your home doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful. It just needs to feel like your home.
