A little mid week project with a whole lot of love. đź’™

My sweet grandson needed his very first nightstand—a special little spot for his bedside lamp and, of course, his water bottle! What started as a rather tired vintage piece, complete with plenty of damaged veneer to repair, became something beautiful again. After a little patience, a bit of restoration work, and a gorgeous new finish in dark walnut and Willowbank—a rich, deep, sophisticated blue—this little nightstand has a whole new life.

Sometimes the smallest projects are the sweetest. đź’™

This little video follows the transformation of a gorgeous older, American-made Ethan Allen credenza—taking a beautifully built vintage piece and giving it a fresh, updated look that feels right at home in today’s interiors. A wonderful reminder that quality furniture doesn’t have to be new to feel new again.

And this one is headed to Vicki, who has now chosen several Linen Cove Design pieces! 🤍

Sometimes the restoration process works its magic a little too well. I started these gorgeous Thomasville nightstands intending to find them a new home, but once I saw those graceful serpentine curves and rich wood come back to life, I couldn’t let them go.

Pairing a warm, natural top with a soft white, tailored finish transformed these beauties from forgotten vintage finds into quiet anchors for a room. Some transformations are meant for a new home, but these rare ones found their way home right here.
