Presenting an authentic two-piece heirloom collection from Grand Rapids master craftsman Kindel Furniture, representing the gold standard of American artisan, fine furniture.

This 14-drawer French Directoire suite features a 7-drawer highboy chest (36"W x 19"D x 54"H) and a generous 7-drawer double dresser (64"W x 20"D x 34"H).

Meticulously refinished in a luminous soft warm white casework, the pair is crowned with natural sandbar-toned wood tops that showcase rich organic grain, complemented by original, polished solid brass bail pulls.

Beyond its tailored neoclassical exterior, the craftsmanship remains unmatched. Every drawer box is constructed from solid quarter-sawn sycamore (lacewood) with hand-cut English dovetails, gliding effortlessly on solid-wood center runners. The suite retains its original maker's stamp, historic wood-making process plate, and three removable sliding valet caddy organizers inside the upper compartments.

When it takes two hours to clean and polish 19 solid brass antique drawer pulls consisting of 57 pieces but it’s totally worth it in the end!

The process that saves so much time:
1. Place half water and half white vinegar in a pot and boil for 20 to 30 minutes. Let remain in the pot for another 30 minutes. Drain and rinse.
2. Skip the barkeepers friend and the wire brush.
3. Go right in with the Brasso polish. Coat each piece front and back. Let it sit for a minute or two. Then wipe completely off with paper towel.
4. Immediately polish with microfiber cloth.
