My daughter asked me to make her a coffee table, gave me picture of what she wanted, a mid century coffee table. I think I nailed it pretty close. It was harder than I anticipated but it turned out pretty good. It was made out of rough cut cherry wood with a golden oak stain and a poly coat for protection.

I gave a "preview" of an upcoming project last month. They brought out this beautiful Anheuser Busch crate out for me as a starting point. We worked out the design and what kind of wood together. Used some rough sawn Walnut to start with. Worked it up into what you see here. Customer was very pleased on the outcome. It was made to hold a record player (remember those?). I think the sap (white part) of the top really adds to it. Thanks for trusting me with your project!
