I have released my first set of postcards that I’m printing myself at home. They are available both on my website and my eBay store. I went with 4x6 size for this series and a glossy texture on the image side.

The images are of a snowy downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota taken by photographer

I do intend to grow mostly by using my own photography, but I need to get out and take more worthy images. Until I have enough to stick to my own work, I will look to selectively license images that I believe are a good fit for what I’m doing.

2025 shall be a fun year at Pick-Nik Postcards. We now have a printer for new original postcards. Once we have selected the type of paper and get enough in stock, we will be working hard to bring new cards to the website.

You should expect some slow signs of this happening in the next month or so, but am aiming for April or May to have enough selection to really offer to the public.

It has been quite exciting to watch the images print and cut the postcards by hand. I’ll try to document what I can of my process, but I’m trying to squeeze this all in before bed. That also explains why this is getting to be quite a long post.
