Hi, Iā€™m Carla and I am an immigrant.
I thought long and hard what to say but there is already a lot out there. So hereā€™s something based on my experience:

The land of the free is not the land of the free. It is freedom of speech until you disagree, then they use their freedom to ā€œdefend themselvesā€. It is your freedom to voice out how you feel about them, but do not show in public because they will label it as ā€œstopping an arrestā€. It is your right to carry unless you bring it with you just in case you need to defend yourself, but instead, they call it terrorism and shoot you while being pinned down by 5 other men. Land of the free is not free. It is free to the blind, free to the deaf and free to the mute but not free to the people it should be serving.

This piece is being sold as a part of a fundraising for , organized by .love.studio ! It starts February 6th and if you want this, please do buy it!! Itā€™s not my normal price range but it is for a good cause. Thank you gorgeous people ā¤ļø There is more kindness, I know of it. I saw it. For every 1 old white lady who called me a mail order bride, I met 20 more of American who would never even cross that thought. šŸ„°
