We love different plasters for different reasons—and choosing the right one depends on the space and how it will be used.

Roman Clay is beautiful, especially in darker colors, but durability and touch-ups can be a challenge. Unlike regular paint, some decorative finishes don’t blend easily when repaired.

This theater wall needed a few repairs over the past year following the ceiling-mounted screen installation. The touch-ups weren’t blending as well as we wanted, so now that all the work in the home is complete, we’re coming back to lightly sand the wall, apply another layer of Roman Clay across the entire surface, and finish with a sealer.

Sometimes refreshing the full wall is the best way to get a consistent finish.

A fresh perspective from above at the 400 Central penthouse. We transformed the primary bedroom ceiling with metallic plasters, adding a soft shimmer and rich texture that shifts with the light. The finish brings depth to the architectural details and creates a beautiful focal point for the room.

A little texture made a big difference. We used mineral paint to add soft movement and depth across the entire fireplace wall, creating a warm, cohesive backdrop for the fireplace, wood accents, and TV.

We originally painted this mural for our client, and when she moved into her new penthouse at 400 Central, she wanted us to recreate it in her home office. Oversized peonies against a layered blue textured background—with an incredible view to match.

This kitchen received o ne of my favorite finishes. Marmorino plaster on the range hood, hand applied to give it just enough movement and texture without competing with the stone.
