My heart is so sad about Suzanne Fullford from Dixie Belle Paint. I was a traumatized Nurse leader back in 2019. We had a maternal death on my unit and I didn’t know how to handle this situation. I quit work in Jan 2020 and started painting furniture. I loved Dixie Belle pant from the beginning but I had to drive an hour and a half to get it in Los Angeles. So I decided to find a place where I could sell the pant. I found a wonderful vintage shop in Long Beach. Dixie Belle paint saved my life when I was so lost and alone. I know it sounds stupid and crazy bit I was able tomorrow start painting and find some relief from the horrible sadness I felt. Thank you Susanne for your paint and your wonderful legacy. I will love this company forever

I was going through some old photos tonight and this one stopped me in my tracks. I’ve always loved this paper from —the artistry is just stunning. The expressions, the eyes, the strength in these two women... absolutely captivating. I added them to a canvas, blended out the edges, and brought the piece to my shop. indeed. They’re simply beautiful.
