This needed to be pulled out of the archives now that everyone is starting to buy Halloween decor, don’t let what happen to me happen to you! 😆

Last year I thought I was getting a PB look for less pumpkin but was totally taken for a ride, I paid $20 for the tiniest pumpkin I’ve ever seen and literally laughed out loud when I opened it.

Don’t fall for it like I did, I’ll be buying mine from PB this year! Be careful out there friends getting the best deals on Halloween decor can be scary 😉

Do you sleep with or without a top sheet?

I’ve spent years trying to make this house feel like home.
The funny thing is… my favorite part isn’t how it looks.

It’s that this is where my family wants to hang out.
Movie nights, homework, snacks that somehow always make their way to the couch, and at least one person falling asleep before the movie is over.

If you’ve been here for a while, you know I love changing things up. I’ve painted walls, built furniture, swapped out decor, and rearranged this house more times than I can count. And because I get bored way more often than I’d like to admit, I love that I can reconfigure our Lovesac Sactional and make the whole room feel different without starting another project.

But more than anything, I love that it’s become the place where our family hangs out.

Creating a home that feels welcoming has always been the goal, and I think this room finally became exactly that!

I’m so excited about our new RO system by and especially this one because it’s a dual water system in one faucet. We have been working on our son’s room one project at a time and now it’s finally finished! The last thing was adding in his new furniture and it’s simply perfect.

We added the coolest bed to his room from it’s made with Japanese Joinery design so it goes together without tools and it’s extremely strong, perfect for a little boy that may or may not jump on his bed… we also got 4 of the under bed storage drawers to keep is toys and extra blankets in, this might be my favorite part! His room is the perfect example of the phrases “home takes time” and now after several projects his bedroom is complete and I couldn’t be happier with the result!

We gave our loft a long awaited makeover to fix an issue I’ve been avoiding for a while and it turned out better than I expected!

Last year we installed this beautiful wallpaper that I loved but for some reason the glue we used left dark lines on the seams that continued to get darker over time. So we decided to redo the top half of the wall and I love how it turned out!

Since we were giving this room a new look we decided to refresh our Sactional too! We swapped the covers from the darker color I like in the winter for a brighter color for the summer and added 2 recliners, that’s the part I’m most excited about. We’ve had this couch for over 8 years now and there’s so much I love about it, but being able to switch the covers anytime I want for a completely new look is probably my very favorite!

My son is a huge soccer fan so we decided to throw him a little World Cup watch party and it was so fun!

We picked up some of his favorite food, soccer themed decorations, and confetti poppers for added fun! We set it all up to surprise him in our loft and he loved it! I don’t ever worry about our kids making a mess or eating on our Sactional because the covers are removable and washable. That’s one of my top things I look for when picking out a sofa! We have had ours now for over 8 years and it’s held up amazingly well, especially in our house full of kids and dogs, that’s what I call couch goals!

We built this privacy screen a couple years ago and it’s been great, but I had an idea on how to make it even better!

We get some pretty intense sun at different parts of the day on our deck so to solve that problem we installed these outdoor shades by and they are just what this space needed! They are fully customizable and remote controlled, plus you can charge them or install the solar panels.

I’m so happy with how they turned and it makes this space feel so cozy!
