This is the viral Twinkle Christmas Tree from The Home Depot, and I completely understand the hype. The thousands of tiny lights give it the prettiest glow, and I love how full and realistic it looks.

It’s back in stock for the holiday season, but this is one of those trees that sells out well before Christmas every year—so if you’ve had your eye on it, I wouldn’t wait!
Now the real question… is September too early to leave it up? Kidding/not kidding 😉

When I redid this space over a year ago, I swapped our sectional for two sofas. I loved the way it looked, but after living with it, I realized it just didn’t function as well for our family.

With all of us piled into this room, we missed having a sectional and sometimes function wins. So, I went back to what works for us with this sectional from Castlery US, paired with two oversized chairs to give us even more seating.

And I have to say…I think this layout fits our home SO much better. It still has the elevated look I wanted, but now it actually works for the way we live in this space every day.

Sometimes it takes a little trial and error to find what works best!

This might be one of my favorite little upgrades I’ve made out here.

We built two long wood look planters to frame our deck stairs and filled them with boxwoods that can stay year-round + smaller mums for a little fall color, and a few pumpkins for the season!

And of course, no DIY at our house is complete without leaving a giant mess behind. Our DEWALT Brushless Blower from The Home Depot made quick work of the dirt and project debris before I added the finishing touches.

I love that the planters make this area feel so much more finished, but my favorite part is that I can leave them here and just switch out the seasonal plants and decor throughout the year.

Now the important question: what should I put in them for Christmas?

My summer plants have officially given up, so instead of replacing them…I decided to build something better.

I’ve been wanting this area around our deck stairs to feel a little more intentional, and two custom planter boxes felt like the perfect solution. We clearing everything out and prepping the space to get it ready for the project.

I used my DEWALT Brushless Blower from The Home Depot to get the area cleaned up before I started—and I love that it’s one of those tools I can grab for everything from outdoor cleanup to the inevitable mess that comes with our DIY projects.

The frame is built but help me decide, should I make the planters wood or black? What’s your vote?

Proof that sometimes a room just needs a little more personality!

I’ve been wanting to add something to the walls in our hidden movie room, and this beautiful wallpaper from Lemon Park | Elevated Home Decor for Every Room. was it! We added it in between the existing board and batten and I LOVE how much character it gave the entire space.

I love the bold pattern in here, it’s the perfect space to have some fun with the design! It completely changed the feel of the room without having to redo the wall treatment we already had.
