Honestly? I think we could all use a little more permission to just make the quilt we want to make.

Use the fabric you love. Try something new. Skip a step. Add some texture. Make something that makes you happy.

Because at the end of the day… there are no quilting police.

Who else loves a quilt that looks complicated… but isn’t?

The Morning Latte Quilt is the perfect example. The cheater print gives you the look of pieced stars without all the cutting and piecing, and adding Chenille-It completely transforms the design.

I had several ideas for how I could embellish this print, but ultimately decided to follow the block design. I love how it makes them pop and adds so much soft, cozy texture.

And those warm colors? Perfect for fall. 🍂☕️
