That’s why I’m so excited about this project!!

Last year, we created our Mixed Bag of Lollies quilt, and it quickly became a favorite. Ever since then, I’ve had so many people asking if we’d be bringing it back.

Well… this is my new take on that beloved quilt. 💕

I’m using the new Lollies Gathered collection by , which gives the look of hundreds of scrappy pieces without having to cut and sew hundreds of scrappy pieces. And honestly, I’m pretty grateful for that.

Some people might call it cheating. I call it quilting smarter! 🤓

There are seasons for intricate piecing and challenging projects. And there are seasons when you just want to sit down, sew something beautiful, and actually finish it.

I’m adding Chenille-It to create even more texture and dimension, and it’s amazing how quickly this quilt starts looking like something that took far longer to make than it actually did.

At this point in my quilting journey, I’ve learned that the goal isn’t to make every project harder. The goal is to enjoy creating.

And if a fabric collection helps me get that scrappy look I love with a little less work? I’ll happily take the shortcut.

I’m excited to share this updated version with you and bring back a quilt that so many of you have been asking for.

It really is MAGIC!

Chenille-It comes flat on a roll, but once you stitch it down and wash + dry your quilt, it fluffs up into the softest vintage-style texture. It’s such an easy way to add dimension and that cozy, heirloom feel to your projects.

I love using it to outline quilt blocks, add dimension to appliqué, embellish panels, or even use it as binding for an extra cozy finish. And the best part? It’s beginner friendly and works on so many different types of projects.

Just stitch it down the center (I recommend a 2.0 stitch length), wash + dry your quilt, and watch the magic happen. 🪄
