Flower Power Art Shop

GM Flower Power Fans! It is Friday and the end of the week. What a week indeed! Meeting a friend for coffee for fellowship and much needed prayer.

This is one of my mini journals I kept in my purse! I’m almost at the end. I never sealed my art on this mini but my next one will be! It took a lotta rubbing in my purse and Sunday morning sermons excursions.

Have a great weekend!

Nighttime Art Journaling: 2-page spread, Mixed media. I will try this for awhile. One page was/is to be a doodle/“play” side with the colors I use on the REAL page! 😆 I was thinking “candy corns” and my verse of the day! So I’m trying to stay in the season. God speaks to us in the verses EVERY DAY, ANY SEASON, ALL DAY! It doesn’t matter, He’s there! ❤️🧡💛🤎

I am still practicing techniques (wet on wet, wet on dry). It’s amazing if you don’t practice enough, it feels foreign again. So…yeah gotta keep at it. 🫨😌 I used watercolors, acrylic and ink markers, AND glitter pens! So fun! One if the snapshots, you can see the sparkle if you 👀 closely.

I hope your Saturday went well. Tomorrow …or, today…is Sunday! Let’s go to church! ⛪️

Nite!🥱😴

Today’s GOD TIME! There are times I can draw or see things in bullet lists (love those), or STEPPING STONES…like today! A little like yesterday too. My brain just feels less constrained when I can make things make sense like this!

When Jesus spoke to his disciples, He spoke in parables. So they could understand easier! Wow! The things He did to try and get across to us! Sometimes, friends, we make things so difficult ourselves…when Jesus tells us in plain, black n white!

How we need Him so!

In my reflections, I write my prayer. I etched it out because it’s personal. What God is telling me for my walk and purpose may be different then yours. But let’s keep an open ear to His wonderful promises.
