Industrious Interiors

I walked into a client's home and stopped cold.

What started as a simple repair after a hailstorm spiraled into a year of demo, no plan, and a home that wasn't safe for the people living in it.

Swipe through to see how it happened — and why it gets pretty ugly before it gets real pretty.

If you're sitting on a renovation and don't know where to start, that's exactly where I come in.

I'll be honest — I'm pretty quiet about my work. I let the room do the talking.

This space is a good example of why. The only things that stayed were the floors and the view. Everything else — the paint, the fireplace, the mantle, the cabinetry, the furnishings — was built around those two things. That's how I approach every project: from the bones up. Architecture and finishes first, furnishings last.

Everything considered as a whole before a single piece is chosen.

When it comes together, people walk in and say I had no idea.

That's the goal every time.
If you or someone you know is ready to transform their space, reach out. I'd love to hear about your dream.

Honored to be mentioned!

What does it actually mean to have a chef design your kitchen?

I am a trained chef, and I design kitchens for people who truly live in them — people who cook, gather, and want their kitchen to support their daily life, not work against it.

This approach isn’t about trends or professional-looking spaces. It’s about function, flow, and designing from lived experience.

If you’ve been dreaming about a kitchen remodel and wondering whether it’s finally time, this may help you see what’s possible.

➡️ Our final Dossier for this issue is Industrious Interiors!

Design today goes beyond aesthetics—it’s about creating homes that enhance well-being and balance. Wellness-centered design is leading this transformation. Through biophilic elements like natural materials, soothing colors, and organic features such as light and greenery, we connect homeowners to nature.
