I made homemade spaghetti sauce that was diabetic friendly!! OMG it was so good! Never needed to add any salt and I used fresh veggies and Italian sausage. YUMMMMM!! And my sugars in the morning were 157 🤯😳

It took about 20 min of prep and roughly 40 minutes to cook through.

My official diagnosis is:
•Congestive Heart Failure
•Type 2 Diabetes

They are sending me home probably on Sunday with: blood pressure meds and diabetic supplies.

Getting some vitamin D on my walk around the ward. I can walk better! I’m not as unstable…my skin doesn’t feel like it’s going to pop open anymore! 😌😌😌😌😌

You never realize how bad things can get if you’re not able to get things taken care of right away. This wasn’t something to wait on, but unfortunate circumstances put me in a bind between a rock and hard place.

Now for some sun ☀️

So….. I’m at Sharp Grossmont hospital in La Mesa. I’ve been admitted for congestive heart failure issues. My legs have been swollen and bloated for a bit and my blood work was not looking good so it’s been decided to have me stay in the hospital. Hope the food is good 🤣🤣

Let’s hope for the best and that I don’t need any surgeries 🤞🏻

The last few weeks/month have been a cluster eff…so many things coming at me from so many directions. Helping the ex navigating medical issues, dealing with my own medical issues, getting Robby registered for high school, getting his ID and learners permit, moving Robby back to his dads for now.

CALGONE TAKE ME AWAY!!!! 🤣🤣

I’ll be alright, just need to breathe.. and drink my coffee that makes me happy happy.

Happy Friday!!

Did you know that we can help bees thrive in the summer months when flowers are scarce?? Place a grated apple in a bowl with some water and the bees will get the sugar from the fruit and be able to drink water without drowning. A lot of bees drown when attempting to drink from pools.

I’m not a fan of bees, I’m allergic to their stings….BUT… they are very necessary and without them our world would be screwed. I plan on placing a grated apple out for my neighborhood bee population to keep them from dying. Will you??
