It's been a LONG TIME coming but - I can finally share! I have been wanting to combine my businesses for awhile now and I am shaking as I write this because it's actually happening - FINALLY! **tears of joy**

Day Dough Retreat is LAUNCHED! I have two available and one of them is already booked! I have one more available for June 29th of this month and I wanted to share!

Purchaser must be in the Phoenix Valley because I come to you to teach you how to bake the sourdough. It includes a starter and sooooo much more! I have also included the other DOUGH piece and you will learn all about money and how to have a great relationship with it!

An Important Update from Sourdough Made To Order, LLC

I hope this message finds you well. It is with a heavy heart that I share some important news about the future of Sourdough Made To Order, LLC. After much consideration and many memorable years of serving this community, we have decided to close our doors effective May 4th, 2024.

Over the years, I have been incredibly fortunate to be embraced by a community of passionate sourdough enthusiasts. Your support has been the cornerstone of my success, and for that, I am profoundly grateful.

**Why We're Closing:**
This journey has been one of joy – pure joy. However, my Cottage License will be expiring and I will not be able to get it renewed. While it’s difficult to say goodbye to this chapter, it’s important to me that we close on a high note, celebrating the community that was built and the experiences shared. I am particularly excited to have the skill of baking sourdough and that will allow me to continue this journey on a different level.

**Looking Ahead:**
Although Sourdough Made To Order will not be operating, the spirit of this home bakery will live on. I am looking forward to exploring new paths and opportunities that await me, with The Dough Retreat and many other ideas I have. I hope to carry forward the lessons and friendships that I’ve cherished over the years.

**Final Orders and Farewell:**
I will be accepting orders until the schedule is full for the next 3 weeks (yes I will be baking this weekend), with final pickups scheduled no later than Saturday, May 4th. I invite you to place one last order and share a final sourdough goodbye.

Its Wednesday neighbors! Its time to prepare for baking this weekend!

I will be introducing a new sandwich bread recipe. I know some of you have been missing the sandwich bread.

I had taken it off of the menu because it requires a large powerful mixer to mix in all that yummy butter. My Professional KitchenAid took a crap before Christmas.
I replaced it with a "get me by" mixer and it is not BIG enough to handle that sandwich bread recipe.

So.... I searched and practiced. And introducing.... VEGAN sandwich bread and ya'll... its soo good! No butter or milk - so healthy and tastes amazing.

It will be on the menu by end of day!

First test complete. Quick Einkorn Sandwich Bread
OMGeeee ya'll! This sucked to make. Super sticky dough - but did it smell amazing cooking. Even better going into my mouth buttered!
Half the loaf is gone! 🤣🤩
This is a keeper!

Testing out some "things" today!

I started this journey 3 ½ years ago with the idea of using Einkorn flour to bake sourdough bread.

It was HARD!! I gave in to the regular sourdough bread using great high protein flour and finally settling in to using Central Milling out of Utah!

I have NEVER used their recipes tho!
I feel so much more confident with some "practice" under my belt.

Here goes another adventure! For those of you searching for a lower gluten sourdough with some additional health benefits ... it might be time to try some Einkorn. Its anti-inflammatory and sooo good for you!

This is NOT APPROPRIATE FOR DIAGNOSED CELIACS!

Wish me luck... and oh yeah.. I still have chores to do! 🤣😂

Its that time again ya'll! I almost forgot to get Judy out of the fridge tonight before bed!

She'll rise all night and get fed again in the morning for another strong rise before taking on some huge orders!
