Happy February Burnie Fans! Just sharing photos from last week's meetings with our region's Hearth, Patio and Barbecue Association ( HPBA Pacific ) and legislators on Capitol Hill. Pat Lopez is on the board and really loves educating those willing to listen about various options for heating homes responsibly, but still considering our environment at the same time. There are lots of EPA certified options, both wood and gas. In our county, both are allowed. And of course there are amazing electric fireplaces now with really cool technology.

PSA! This is not just limited to garage door services but many other service industries: appliance repair, chimney sweeps, and more. Take the advice here and DON'T rely on Google for a legit service provider. Get a local referral, check companies out. It's really egregious and Google has allowed it. One gets shut down and 25 more pop up. Very hard to deal with.
