As we head into Memorial Day weekend, I carry with me the weight and the honor of those who came before us. As a Navy vet, I’ve seen firsthand the kind of courage, sacrifice, and unwavering duty it takes to serve—and I know too many who never made it home.

This weekend isn't just about BBQs and beach days. It's about remembering the men and women who laid down their lives so we could live ours in freedom. Their legacy is etched into the soul of this country, and we honor them by never forgetting.
