This bar was transformed into a sculptural moment—white oak cabinetry paired with shelving supported by a black steel frame, grounded by a smoked-mirror backdrop that reflects light and mood in equal measure. This one declares it.

What was once dim and heavy is now a calm, grounded living space where softened light, layered textures, and deep shadows create a sense of quiet luxury. The custom white oak cabinetry, charcoal accents, and clean architectural lines reset the entire mood—while the indoor–outdoor flow brings in the rhythm of Del Mar’s coastline.

Let us introduce Dalia - Cofounder and Lead Interior Designer at SD Design Studio

Dalia received her Bachelors Degree of Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego. Prior to founding the Studio in 2016, she held lead designer positions at some of the most prestigious Interior Design Firms in San Diego, working on a wide array of custom residences from Coronado to Del Mar, and hospitality projects across the city.

With a natural eye for design and a passion that is unique and impeccable, Dalia believes that quality-considered interiors have a positive impact on our day-to-day lives. She is an advocate for getting to know her clients first, and forming a relationship that will lead to personalized design for each project.

With Dalia's multicultural life experiences, she has come to interpret and appreciate a variety of palettes and concepts, allowing her to connect with a diverse body of clients and understand their individual backgrounds. She believes in creating an exclusive space, based on the individual's vibe and persona, drawing from natural elements, different materials and textures, as well as eclectic fun pieces. She excels in providing precise and tailored spaces for every design environment and client.
