After 25 years, I am closing my website on 10/31. I am 😫😄🥲. It’s bittersweet. It’s been a long, long ride with many peaks and valleys. Looking over the notebooks I made with swatches, descriptions, prices of every vintage fabric makes me cry. I worked so hard and, let’s just say, it was never a mega money maker! Still the messages I’m getting remind me that my fabrics and bedding made a lot of people happy and that feels good. I’ve donated to many charities over the years- museums, schools, Girl Scouts, orphanages, baby blanket-making groups…. even the Humane Society so that dogs sleep well too! I do still have many yards of my wonderfully soft and silky cotton percale on super duper sale on my website elizabethallen.com. I’m shipping piles everyday and it makes me happy to know they’ll be turned into something beautiful. I hope to reignite my creativity and get making!!
