My next market is just around the corner! 🎨💜

I’ll be at CV Art Fest on Saturday, September 26, from 12–6 PM at Chula Vista City Hall!

This time I’m bringing a selection of my mixed-media artwork, and I’m really looking forward to having people see these pieces in person. As much as I try to photograph them well, pictures simply don’t capture all the texture, dimension, layers, metallic finishes, and details that make them special.

So if you’ve seen one of my pieces online and wondered what it actually looks like up close, come take a look! 😊

I’ll also be bringing some of my handcrafted w**e glasses and shot glasses—because CK Art Creations needs a little functional art too. 🍷

CV Art Fest will have live music, art vendors, food, and more, and admission is free for all ages.

📍 Chula Vista City Hall
📅 Saturday, September 26
⏰ 12 PM–6 PM

I’d love to see some familiar faces. Stop by, say hello, and see what I’ve been busy creating! 💙

🌊 Bring the Ocean Home – Coastal Collection 🌊

Some days you just need a little bit of the sea around you — so I made an entire collection to bring that feeling home.

🍷 Wave W**e Glasses – Handcrafted stemless glasses with a deep blue-green wave rolling right at the base
🐚 Sand & Shell Mini Glasses – Sand and shells suspended in glass, like a little scoop of shoreline
🐙 Sea Creature Bottle – One side swims with an octopus, stingray, seahorse, and school of fish; flip it around and the other side is a whole reef scene of sea turtles, jellyfish, a seahorse, and more fish, all in shimmering blue-purple tones
🐢 Turtle Mixed Media Art – A sea turtle built from layers of ocean charms set in a deep blue resin wave

The fun part? Nothing goes to waste here — the leftover epoxy resin from the w**e glasses is exactly what’s used to set the charms on the sea creature bottle and turtle art. So every piece in this collection is connected, right down to the materials.

Whether you’re decorating with coastal decor or just want to keep a bit of beach and summer with you all year, there’s a piece here for your space. 🐚✨

🎨 Some happy art news! 🖼️

I’m excited to share that Serenity in Bloom has been accepted into HOPE, a juried exhibition at The Studio Door in San Diego!

This mixed-media piece combines acrylic painting with preserved botanicals and reflects a quieter kind of hope—the kind found in moments of stillness, reflection, and renewal. Sometimes growth doesn’t announce itself. Sometimes it begins with simply finding a moment of peace. 🌿

If you’re local, I’d love for you to see Serenity in Bloom in person during the exhibition. 💙

🌊 NEW CREATION — Beneath the Blue 🌊

This piece started with two things I really don’t like throwing away: a perfectly good glass bottle and leftover resin from my art projects. 😊

So I decided to give both of them another life.

I transformed the bottle into Beneath the Blue, a one-of-a-kind dimensional underwater world. Every marine embellishment was made from leftover epoxy resin and individually finished with different colored waxes to bring out the textures and details.

One of my favorite things about this piece is that both sides are completely different. 💙

One side features an octopus surrounded by fish, a ray, seahorse and other treasures of the deep. Turn it around and you’ll discover sea turtles, jellyfish, coral, fish and more.

📏 7.5” H × 6” W × 3” D
🎨 One of a kind
♻️ Upcycled glass + repurposed leftover resin
🌊 Hand-finished ocean scenes on both sides

It’s now available in my Etsy shop.

I’m curious—which side is your favorite? 🐙 or 🐢🪼?
