An office makeover reality-show that will change the way we live at work. Americans spend more hours of the day at their jobs than anywhere else. In addition, they lack the time and creativity in crafting a fabulous or functional workspace. It will maximize their work space through technology, design and organization. It will enrich their physical and mental space by creating a dynamic work enviro
nment that builds confidence, attitude and satisfaction no matter if it is a cubicle, classroom or an office with a view. The show will pull on the heart strings when lives are changed for the better. Typical Episode:
Host opens with a description of where they are (geographical location, company, etc.) and a brief profile of who they are going to meet. For example, “we’re going to meet Samantha, a Marketing Manager whose paperwork and dull office environment are weighing her down:…show clips of a typical work day and interview co-workers for personality traits and style feedback, which is filmed earlier. Then the Host meets the Employee and discusses desired needs and challenges. The next step is for the host to set up the game plan and an outline of what will take place (budget, time allowed and team). Design team is prepped by watching clips of a characteristic day at the office and possible de-briefing from the Boss/Manager. Then they are joined with the Host and Employee. They give pointers such as “we noticed you spend wasted time searching for things in between running from meeting to meeting,” “poor lighting could be contributing to your headaches and lack of concentration,” or “your fatigue may come from unhealthy eating habits – let’s get some healthy snacks in here!” The Employee is then taken off the premises and the Design Team has the weekend to make his/her workspace fabulous. The unveiling take place first thing Monday morning.
