I won’t say I came in for “final touches”…

but suddenly boxes show up, lights are adjusted, and nothing is exactly where it was.

In , that last pass is where everything gets dialed in and actually feels right.

It’s always “just one more tweak.”

If you know, you know.

Clean lines. Warm lighting. Good textures. A space that just feels right.

Whatever this style is called… I’m a fan.

In , some homes don’t need an explanation, they just instantly make you want to stay longer.

That’s the kind of feeling great design creates.

The difference is always in the details.

In , it’s the small, intentional choices that make a home feel thoughtfully designed instead of just put together.

A carved towel rack that adds character. Dark wood to bring warmth and luxury into a bathroom. Large windows that elevate a dining space. Tight areas given real purpose. And bold tile choices that create contrast and depth.

These are the details that change how a home feels.

Which one would you add to your home?

Client: “I can’t wait to see the new home.”

Me: “Me neither.”

In , there’s always that moment mid-project where it’s all still coming together and you’re trusting the process just like everyone else.

You know it’s going to look amazing… but you still want to see it finished.

If you know, you know.

architecture tells a story you can still see today.

From Victorian and Edwardian homes to more modern updates, the city is all about layering old details with new living.

In , you’ll notice high ceilings, bay windows, detailed trim, and homes that have been adapted over time rather than replaced.

It’s that mix of preserved character and modern function that makes San Francisco homes feel so unique.

Have you noticed these details before?

is filled with places that instantly stand out.

From the Golden Gate Bridge to Twin Peaks, every landmark adds to the identity of the city.

Fisherman’s Wharf, the Chinatown Gate, the Palace of Fine Arts, Alcatraz Island, and the Painted Ladies all tell a different story about San Francisco’s history, culture, and design.

It’s what makes this city so recognizable.

Which landmark is your favorite?

Blue is one of the most powerful colors in , but it’s all about how you use it.

It creates a sense of calm, focus, and balance, which is why it works so well in bedrooms, bathrooms, and even workspaces.

You don’t need to overfill a space with blue. It works best as an accent with whites, beiges, and natural tones.

That said, blue walls or blue tile can make a bold, clean statement when done right.

It’s a color that can feel both relaxing and elevated at the same time.

How would you use blue in your home?

San Francisco has been home to some incredible celebrity-owned properties over the years. From historic mansions to luxury condos, these homes are as interesting as the people who owned them.

Robin Williams’ Sea Cliff mansion featured secret rooms, hidden passageways, and stunning Golden Gate Bridge views. Danny Glover owned the iconic Spreckels Mansion, one of the city's most historic homes. Nicolas Cage's former Franklin Street mansion blends Gilded Age architecture with modern possibilities. Stan Lee had a luxury Four Seasons residence overlooking downtown. And Francis Ford Coppola's legendary Sentinel Building remains one of the most recognizable landmarks in the city.

In , these homes show how architecture, history, and personality come together to create spaces that are truly one of a kind.

Which one would you want to tour?

Modern minimalism works because it focuses on what actually matters.

In , it’s not about having less, it’s about removing distractions and creating a home that feels calm, functional, and intentional.

Clean lines, natural materials, thoughtful furniture, and open space help every element stand out without overwhelming the room.

The result is a home that feels timeless, elevated, and easier to live in every day.

Could you see yourself living in a space like this?
