Kat Reilly Paper Artist I’m a paper artist using ordinary materials to tell powerful stories.

All my artwork begins with assembling & collaging the papers, packaging and other materials we are quick to discard.

New work in progress. Leaning into an earthy red color and white as primaries to illustrate a balance between fiery action and cultivated calm…something I’m trying to achieve internally with both the state of the world and my own emotional landscape.

Made from old paintings on paper, election ballot information, onion netting, tea bag packaging and cardboard.

When done, this work will be for sale on my website. DM me if you’d like to be the first to know when it’s available (or want to buy it in advance 😊)

Stay awesome, friends.

A quick look at what’s cooking on the studio wall. All three are at various stages of “in progress.”

Starting from the first image, here are the titles so far: “the cycle of pushing through,” “self-portrait 2026,” and “landfill landscape”

Many of my works will soon become available for purchase on my website. If you’d like to be the first to know when everything will be available, send me a DM with your email and I’ll add you to my mailing list.

These two commissioned pieces actually feature three co-artists: my client’s kids 🙂

Destined for the family’s living room, I wanted to preserve the kids’ innocent, earnest (and sometimes hilarious) artwork in a way that grows with them over time.

The results are these “cloud-scapes.” Built-up layers of the kids’ artwork, my own joyful artifacts, a vibrant color palette, and rich texture allow us to see something new each time we view them.
