Encore Staging Services was founded by owner and principal designer, Vanessa Nielsen. Her mother was a beauty stylist and her father was a professional tailor. Since childhood, Vanessa was inspired by their creations; as a child she made dresses and decorative pillows for herself and her friends. Throughout her teens, she helped friends get ready for school proms
by cutting and styling their hair as well as applying their makeup. Prior to Encore Staging, Vanessa was a seasoned marketing and public relations expert in the professional beauty industry. She currently holds a real estate license, although she no longer practices. After helping her Broker stage properties in Santa Monica, Vanessa decided to return to Silicon Valley, start a family and her own business. Encore Staging Services was born, and it has grown ever since. Rain or shine, Encore delivers on the promise to complete all installations on the day promised, and with full client satisfaction. During the early days of the business, Vanessa even kept this promise by bringing her 8 day old daughter with her to stage a home on time.
