今年中秋，來一場不一樣的染藝文化交流 💙

Dream Fields Indigo × iRidescent Batik Studio 首次合作，將馬來西亞蠟染 Batik × 台灣傳統藍染 Indigo Dye結合，一次體驗兩種不同的染色技法，創作屬於自己的作品。

✨可以一個人來，也可以親子一起參加！
提供「個人參加」與「親子參加」兩種報名方式，費用不同，請依報名選項選擇。

Experience Malaysian Batik × Taiwanese Indigo Dyeing, combining wax-resist techniques with traditional indigo to create your own unique piece.

✨ Come on your own or join us with your child!
Both Individual and Parent + Child options are available. Pricing varies by registration option.

👩‍👧 For families, childcare and kids’ activities are provided by experienced early-childhood educators. Parents and children will enjoy separate activities, giving parents the space to relax and fully enjoy their own creative experience.

Thank you, Fremont. 💙

This was my fourth year at the Fremont Festival of the Arts, and every year feels a little more like coming home.

The best part wasn’t just seeing my pieces find new homes—it was seeing so many familiar faces.

Some friends have been visiting my booth every year for the past two or three years. One customer told me she still wears the dress she bought last year, and it’s still one of her favorites.

Some people didn’t even buy anything this year, but they still stopped by just to say,

“I love your work.”

Those words mean more than you know.

I love this festival because it’s more than an art fair.

It’s a community gathering.

Families walk together, neighbors catch up, children run around, and local artists share what they love.

Even under the hot California sun, people still came out to support local businesses and reconnect with old friends.

That’s the kind of community I feel grateful to be part of.

This year I also met many new friends.

Some discovered my work for the first time and were surprised to learn there’s a Taiwanese indigo artist here in Fremont.

Some even found out they can join one of my indigo workshops.

Sharing Taiwanese indigo with more people has always been my dream.

By the end of the weekend, almost everything had found a new home.

Only a few dresses were left on the rack.

Thank you for supporting handmade work.

Everything I make is dyed and finished by hand.

I only have two hands, so I simply keep making one piece at a time.

Just like indigo…

Good color takes time.

Good relationships do, too.

This is my fourth year building Dream Fields Indigo in the Bay Area.

Little by little, I’ve been lucky enough to build not only a business, but also a community.

第四次參加 Fremont Festival of the Arts。

最開心的不是作品賣得很好，而是每一年都有越來越多熟悉的面孔回來。

有人再回來我的攤位跟我說去年、前年跟我買的作品都還有穿，而且保存很好即使2、3年了，顏色也保存很好；也有人今年沒有買到東西，卻還是特地來跟我打招呼。

對我來說，這些支持比任何銷售都更珍貴。

藍染需要一次次浸染，顏色才會慢慢累積；而人與人的關係，也是一樣。

謝謝陪伴 Dream Fields Indigo 走到第四年的每一位朋友。

六月對我來說是充滿期待的一個月！

我即將回到我的家鄉——台灣，也會安排前往日本與韓國旅行。除了探訪老朋友、補充創作靈感之外，也會與幾位新的合作夥伴見面，討論未來的合作計畫。

每次回到台灣，總有一種特別踏實又溫暖的感覺。很期待這趟旅程能帶回更多新的想法、材料與文化靈感，希望未來能在灣區推出更多有趣的新作品與新產品和大家分享。

💙【June Travel Update】💙

June is going to be an exciting month for me!

I’ll be traveling to Taiwan, my hometown, and also visiting Japan and Korea. Besides reconnecting with friends and gathering creative inspiration, I’ll be meeting with potential collaborators to explore new opportunities for future projects.

Every trip back to Taiwan feels incredibly meaningful and grounding. I’m looking forward to bringing back fresh ideas, materials, and cultural inspiration that may lead to new products and collections for the Bay Area community in the future.

📌 Since I’ll be traveling for most of June, any new orders placed during this time will be handmade and fulfilled starting in July after I return to the U.S.

If you’ve been thinking about placing an order, please keep the production timeline in mind. Thank you so much for your continued support, patience, and encouragement.

很多人看到的是作品，但其實真正塑造我的，是一次又一次站在市集裡的那些時刻。

在灣區的戶外市集、設計市集、文化活動裡擺攤，
我學會的從來不只是銷售。

而是——
如何在短短幾分鐘內說清楚台灣藍染的故事
如何在科技城市裡，讓人願意慢下來摸一塊布
如何面對冷清的早晨與突然湧進的人潮
以及，在每一次對話中更確定：
我為什麼要做這件事。

市集對我來說，是創業的訓練場，也是文化交流的現場。

這堂課最大的亮點（也是我個人最大的挑戰 😅），就是全程使用「台語」來上課！說實話，這對我這個台語弱弱的人來說真的是個超級大魔王，但我決定接受挑戰，現在已經開始認真惡補練習了！大家到時候請多多包涵，我們一起「做夥學藍染，開講台灣話」！

這是一堂非常適合全家大小一起來玩的課程，無論是大人還是小孩都能輕鬆上手。而且，你可以自由選擇想要染的品項，親手染出屬於你獨一無二的湛藍作品！
