These images are of a body for a number of wall sconces created for a historic renovation of a Spanish Moorish home in Santa Barbara that we still have in the shop. What a beautiful, natural patina it has acquired over the years.

From the fires of the Forge, we at Hans Duus Blacksmith do not follow the path well traveled. We create lighting fixtures that do what our clients need. We use our artistic touch to create visually pleasing, functional works of art that can enhance any environment. The same craftsmanship and attention to detail shows, be it a humble lantern or lofty chandelier.

Our products are made to order. Custom to us means a new creation, not a simple "do-dad" or color change. Please view our website for inspirations. Tell us what you like and equally, what you don't like.

Hans Duus, our founder, has almost 55 years of experience in the lighting manufacturing industry. He has designed and created fixtures for theme parks, hotels and casinos, public buildings, celebrity residences around the world and possibly for a neighbor down the street. Hans says he has found his passion and is just now hitting his stride.
