Keyaiira

Handmade & Conscientiously Sourced Home Decor & Accessories | Using the highest quality by-product l

While most kids daydream about being astronauts, doctors, or movie stars, Keyaira Terry had a different career in mind: interior design. After building and trading handmade goods between the farming communities in Northern California as a kid, she founded the lifestyle brand, Keyaiira, to connect her lifelong focus on sustainability with her modern design sensibility. As a natural extension of her resourceful upbringing, Keyaiira products are carefully handcrafted using materials often sourced from local vendors, small businesses, and farms. From Leather Plant Hammocks, Wall Straps, and Cabinet Pulls to Fiber Wall Art and Baskets, we offer a variety of home goods to accentuate any personal style. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, our team loves to create custom pieces and help realize your creative vision. Whether you’re shopping for something specific or just exploring, we’re excited to share sustainable, homespun nostalgia with you.

We've been making our leather Wall Straps and Wall Snap Straps for years, but we're always looking for new ways to show you how to use them!

Recently, we started playing around with AI using existing product photos to create new images, like these skateboard photos! Can you tell they're AI-generated?

We're careful to preserve our actual products, using AI to create the surrounding scenes rather than change the straps themselves.

What's mind-blowing is that something that once required an expensive photoshoot can now be done in minutes!

We know AI comes with valid concerns, but for our tiny handmade business, it's a creative tool that opens up possibilities we couldn't afford to do, as full photoshoots can be hundreds of dollars or more.

What are your thoughts?

Right now in the studio . . .

We're training a new team member, improving studio processes, prepping for the busy holiday season, updating listings, navigating shipping headaches, and battling an unbelievable number of bot-generated checkouts!

We finally secured our EU representative! Now we're knee-deep in product safety documentation, technical files, and what feels like endless paperwork.

We're also working on expanding our interior designer trade program and making some changes behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly.

And somehow, we're still finding time to handmake, pack, and ship your orders every day!

Just another glimpse into the not-so-glamorous side of running a small business! 🤍

What’s happening in the studio right now . . .

The reality of running a small business is not always so glamorous! There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes, so I thought I’d start sharing some of our current studio happenings.

Right now, we’re tackling new EU product safety regulations, finding an EU agent, tracking down material documentation, building all the compliance files, and navigating new domestic and international shipping regulations and changes.

Meet our NEW oversized Initial Cord Holders!

A cleaner personalization, featuring one oversized initial pressed directly into the leather & a fresh take on one of our longest-running designs.

A couple years ago, we made the decision to step away from most of our personalized accessories & focus more intentionally on home décor.

But there was one little product we weren’t ready to let go of, our Cord Holders.

They’ve always felt like a natural fit, simple, functional pieces designed to make the everyday a little more organized.

We knew we wanted to keep them, just in a way that felt more like where the brand was headed.

Thank you so much for supporting my work over the years!

To celebrate 12 years, our anniversary sale is live now, 15% off sitewide, no code needed, through 9.12.26 at 11:59 PM PT 🤍

Introducing our new Cushion Railing Straps 🪄

Originally created through a custom collaboration, we loved the finished design so much we decided to make them part of our permanent collection.

Available in Standard + Wide widths, they’re a simple way to add warmth, character, and a custom feel to banquette and bench seating.

A coffee table book does not need a coffee table. Why can’t a book be storage & art?
