I don’t know if this technically counts as a thrift flip, but it was a pretty good transformation! I love finding cute accent furniture at the Goodwill Bins because it’s always SO cheap!

ADHD; it’s both a blessing and a curse. 🙈 I had SUCH high hopes for all of these in the beginning, but now they sit in a bin in the garage waiting for their second chance. This is the downside of thrifting, especially at the Goodwill Bins. I always end up with more items than I know what to do with, so sometimes things get tossed aside and never finished. Maybe one day some of these will live to see the light of day again. 😆

Thrifting for a specific theme can be difficult, but not impossible! Months of scouring my local thrift stores and Goodwill Bins definitely paid off. I couldn’t be happier with how this party turned out. Now that this thrift mission is over; what will I start planning next?!

The Goodwill Bins have seriously ruined all regular retail shopping for me. I can no longer spend money on items I know I can find at the bins for less. Heck, even the thrift stores aren’t as fun anymore! A brand new Target blanket would have cost the same amount as my entire thrift haul; which included a brand new Target blanket. 😆 I used to love shopping at places like HomeGoods and Hobby Lobby for cute home decor, but now I just get everything from the bins. If anything, it’s taught me patience, and saved me a ridiculous amount of money.

Summer is for crafting! I love a good, simple craft that the girls and I can do together. These photo cubes made from empty cd cases were easy to make, and a great way to reduce, reuse, and recycle. We each made one, and it’s the perfect way to display some of our new summer memories. ☀️ 🩵

Listen, one thing about us Millennials is we always found a way to make cool stuff from what we already had! These photo frame cubes just scream Y2K. They are such an easy DIY, and the possibilities are endless. I was even thinking of switching out the paper and photos depending on the season. But I have to know; am the the only one who made this back in the day?!

These DIY centerpieces are almost complete, I just need something to put in the bottles. I was thinking flowers, paper grass, or maybe I could tape some photos of the baby onto sticks and put them in each one? Help a girl out with some ideas!

Even the bowl was thrifted! Not from the bins, though. The Goodwill Bins are pretty much my go-to for home decor. You can’t beat the price and you never know what you’re gonna find.

Party decor doesn’t have to be expensive! I love when I can find functional items at the thrift or garage sales that I can reuse for different events. These drink buckets are absolutely perfect for our “Dirty Soda Pop Bar” and cost next to nothing to decorate for my niece’s first birthday party. Now to add some ribbons to finish them off!

Here’s a cute idea for a first birthday party favor that won’t break the bank! Reuse old soda pop bottles by repurposing them into bubble bath bottles! If you don’t have a Cricut, you can easily make labels with paper and alphabet stickers. We wanted to give away favors that wouldn’t just be thrown away, and I think we nailed it. What do you think? Would you like to receive this at a 1st birthday party?
