I'm one step closer to launching The Lilypad Initiative!
Four months ago an idea came to me in meditation.
I was a single mom in the middle of a major life transition, trying to figure out housing on my own. The rental market is overwhelming. The scams are real. And the feeling of not knowing who to trust or where to turn is something I would not wish on anyone.
I kept thinking there has to be a better way for women.
So I built it.
The Lilypad Initiative is a private women's housing network that connects women who have a spare room with women who need a safe, compatible place to land. Every member is background checked, compatibility assessed, and personally introduced. This is not Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace, but a vetted, intentional community of women helping women.
Today I am one step closer to launching in Tampa and I could not be more proud of how far this has come in such a short time.
