Still in love with this metallic plaster kitchen hood. It took 2 custom colors of Meoded Paint & Plaster Velvet, and a lot of careful layering, but the outcome is an architectural feature that is both soft and a show stopper ✨

Traveling from the Bay Area to Los Angeles I stopped at Mission San Miguel Arcángel to stretch my legs and admire the historic architecture, craftsmanship that has spanned centuries , and ancient cacti that seem to be the protectors of both faith and stories across the ages.

Every time we find an old building we use it as inspiration for our work.

The beauty of mineral based and natural finishes is that they give an earthy, grounded feel to spaces that are sometimes too busy.

This red and orange brick 🧱 sunroom was updated and given a beautiful glow up with one of our favorite lime paints and colors. We did not distress the brick, so the red is gone, but we also layered the limewash so there is subtle depth you can’t get with straight white paint.

Our metallic plaster-finish kitchen hoods will stop you mid scroll. ✨

This one was a labor of love with our incredible, Savannah-based builder.

The subtle shimmer and layering of essentially 4 colors created exceptional depth, sophisticated movement and turned this beautifully built kitchen hood into the crown jewel of this kitchen….

And that’s saying a lot because the homeowner had selected some gorgeous finishes, amazing appliances and beautiful accessories already. Not to mention the craftsmanship of the cabinets and hood itself.
